Hi everyone. I have to admit, I am not one to leave reviews for any and every experience, but this one is worth the effort of finding this page and taking the time to thank Dr. David L. Cloutier, DMD. I had two crowns done by another doctor up in Dallas that resulted in both of these teeth's nerves beginning to die. I lost the ability to chew on the left side of my mouth for almost six months, and my brain began training my mouth to only eat on one side. Sadly, I began to get used to this life. One of the teeth was more painful than the other one, and I was referred by a friend to see Dr. Cloutier for a potential root canal. Having to travel to San Antonio from Dallas, they were extremely accommodating with my schedule. The office was very clean and professional and everyone from the front desk to the assistants (shoutout to Allison) was very kind and explained everything I needed to know about the procedure, asking me if I had any additional questions before moving forward. Everyone made sure I fully understood what was about to be done. Dr. Cloutier was also very professional and relatable. During the procedure, I chose to use nitrous oxide gas and felt no pain at all. The procedure seemed to go by very quickly. After the root canal, I immediately felt relief in that tooth. Then I noticed that the tooth right next to it was feeling like it needed one as well. I didn't notice the pain in the second tooth before the first tooth had undergone a root canal because the first tooth was so painful before the root canal. I called the office a few days later to see if they could see me and examine my second tooth, they had me in that morning. I got the second root canal done a few days later. This was a lifesaver for me because I do not live in San Antonio, so if I was not able to get an appointment as quickly as I did, I would have had to leave for Dallas with pain from my second tooth and then have to schedule another time to travel back. Today I am forever grateful to everyone at San Antonio Endodontics, and especially Dr. David L. Cloutier because, for the first time in six months, I can chew normally again. I no longer have anxiety or fear of pain when I eat. These two root canals worked like magic! I can even eat carrots, apples, chips, cold, hot--anything. Thank you for bringing the joy back to eating! San Antonio Endodontics is an office that I trust with my mouth and is definitely worth traveling five hours to see.

Dr. C and Becky were amazing! They made sure I was comfortable the entire time. They numbed me up really good and explained anything I was unsure or questioned about! For someone with anxiety! I was ready to get it done and he made me feel so comfortable.

I would like to thank Gabriella, Mindy and Dr Ruparel for being the most amazing people to work with in this industry! I am an AF Veteran and was mistreated at another dentist office and SA Endodontics truly came through for me at the last minute when I was miserable in pain due to a necrotic root in my tooth right before my birthday. Gabriella is the most wonderful person who went above and beyond to get me scheduled without any hassle and made it extremely easy to get seen and followed up with me after my root canal to ensure I was healing well. I love her! Mindy is so skilled, down to earth, warm, caring, and very knowledgeable in her craft! She made me feel at ease and took away my pain and fears and explained everything step by step. Dr Ruparel is hands down the BEST person to go to if you need a root canal! I swear it doesn’t get any better than her!! She knew exactly how to figure out where my pain was coming from when I was previously misdiagnosed from another provider and saved me from getting a root canal on the wrong tooth! She is extremely intelligent, caring, beautiful both inside and out, and a thorough expert in her field! I couldn’t find a better person in Texas to take care of my root canal than these folks! I was not looking forward to getting a root canal done but my brother had recently gotten treatment with SA Endodontics and expressed what a great experience he had with his treatment. He especially gave a rave review of Becky who assisted the doctor. I also had Becky in my procedure and I couldn't be happier with her service. She was reassuring throughout the entire procedure and always explained everything very clearly and was constantly checking to make sure I felt comfortable. Becky really made a huge difference in my experience and I am very thankful for everything she did for me. Dr. Creapa was great as well, not only did my procedure go as well as possible even though I had a severe infection but the next day when I had some unexpected pain she called me right away, saw me within an hour and even gave me her cell number if I encountered any other issues. I would whole heartily recommend SA Endodontics.

My experience with and treatment by Dr. Ball and his staff was nothing short of phenomenal. They are professional, friendly, and make you feel at home. They treat you like family. Dr. Ball and his staff are patient, good listeners, and detailed in answering questions. If someone is in need of an Endodontist, I highly recommend Dr. Ball.

Thank you for taking care of me! Staff are kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. They helped me with any questions and concerns, plus made me feel very comfortable. A special thanks to Dr. Cloutier and Jennifer for doing a great job on my new root canal. They worked very well together, made my procedure smooth, and a lot quicker than I thought It was gonna be. I have had alot of dental work in the last year since my bi-lateral jt replacement and was worried about more work and another new Dr. From the moment I talked with the girls at the desk to my appt with Dr Clouters , to his asst I was put at ease. The girls in the front office did an awesome job helping me in more than 1 way. In fact they went out of thier way to accommodate me. Dr Clouter right away put me at ease, as he did the root canal it was not only thorough but quick. He has a very relaxing manner, explained the process to me.doing . I was relaxed during the whole procedure.. I have had no problem with that gum or tooth since I saw him. It was an outstanding job all around. If you need any of the services Dr Clouter and his staff offers I highly recommend them...thank you so very much...I'm sorry I lost the card with you girls names but thank you so much for your help all of it...irene

By far the least unpleasant experience I have ever had for anything being done at a dentist office. I had a root canal and based on previous experience I was expecting the worst and everything I experienced that day was as wonderful a dental experience as I could imagine having at a dental office. I didn't have to wait before being taken back even though once I was in the back they seemed to be busy with a lot of patients, the procedure was much quicker then previous experiences, even the numbing shots didn't seem to hurt as much. Usually after the dentist even my neck/head hurts from being in an awkward position or having my mouth open for a long time but I was fine. My experience on 11/4/2019 for my root canal bothered me less then an average cavity filling, and everyone was nice, professional, and did they're job. I would definitely recommend anyone needing a root canal to go there. I saw Dr. James Ball. The only more pleasant experience I have endured at a dentist office had nothing to do with dentistry, you can infer what you want but i was about 11 years old.

I saw Dr. Cloutier about two weeks ago for a root canal. Dr. Cloutier and his entire staff were wonderful! As a fellow dentist from another specialty, I was highly impressed by Dr. Cloutier and his well trained staff and by how efficiently their office is run. His staff is kind, compassionate and knowledgeable, which is very helpful when dealing with a procedure that can make a patient nervous, to say the least. Everything was explained in advanced so I knew what to expect and they did everything possible to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. I have completed my root canal therapy now and I can truly say I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Cloutier and his staff. I give them my highest recommendation.

Dr. Cloutier, Valerie and the front office staff were extremely professional during my visit yesterday. I had a throbbing toothache, they fit me in their schedule and completed root canal therapy in the same day! Dr. Cloutier has an exceptional bedside manner. Once the numbness went away, I was pain free! I will definitely return if I ever need their services again. Highly recommend!
