David Cloutier, DMD
San Antonio Endodontist
Dr. David Cloutier was born and raised in Lewiston, Maine. He graduated from Maine Maritime Academy with a BS in Marine Engineering.
Following college, Dr. Cloutier spent several years as an engineer building US Navy Destroyers and offshore drilling rigs. Dr. Cloutier also served as an officer in the United States Naval Reserve for eight years.
After deciding that he had a passion for dentistry, Dr. Cloutier attended the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry earning a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. Dr. Cloutier continued his dental education and completed a one-year residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center earning a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD).
Thereafter, Dr. Cloutier wanted to specialize in endodontics and was accepted into a two-year endodontic residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, earning a specialty certificate in endodontics. Dr. Cloutier served as Chief Resident of the endodontic department during his second year of residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry.
Dr. Cloutier holds memberships in the AAE (American Association of Endodontists), ADA (American Dental Association), TDA (Texas Dental Association) and SADDS (San Antonio District Dental Society).
Dr. Cloutier has been married to his wife, Oria, a native Texan, for 24 years. Dr. Cloutier and Oria are blessed with 3 boys, Luke, Caleb, and Justus.
